I recently switched to T-Mobile from Sprint. I was with Sprint for over 8 years and I am so happy that I made the switch to T-Mobile. The call quality is better, I no longer have dropped calls and the customer service department is FASTER, NICER and SO MUCH MORE HELPFUL than Sprint's. I also love the MyFaves plan! How practical! I was able to chop my monthly payment tremendously. Here are the numbers: Sprint - 3 phones - $175.99 incl. unlimited text and pics on 1 phone, 2000 anytime minutes, free Sprint to Sprint and free nights and weekends T-Mobile - 3 phones - $129.99 for unlimited T-Mobile to T-Mobile, unlimited text and pics, unlimited calling to my fav. 5 people, 700 anytime minutes, free nights and weekends Hope this helps. If you have Sprint in the Las Vegas area, switch to T-Mobile NOW! Don't wait 30 minutes on the phone only to get POOR service from RUDE people.

We switched from Cingular/AT&T and so far T-Mobile is much better. I get better reception at home in Duvall and at work near Safeco field. Haven’t dropped any calls yet. With Cingular my calls were dropped on a regular basis. Not sure how much of the improvement is due to a new phone or the new provider but I’m happy to now have reliable service.

I have been with nearly every cell phone company offered in Colorado and can't say enough good things about T-Mobile. Even during financially difficult times their customer service representatives are thoughtful and helpful. I can't wait to get the HotSpot @home service added to make the service at my house that much better.

I had Verizon for ten years before switching to t mobile 5 years ago - I will never leave T-Mobile!! They have the best value - coverage is awesome and getting better and as for customer service - every time I have called I am blown away by how nice they are . No wonder t mobile has won six best - in - customer -service awards from JD powers - I see why !!

I counted the days for my contract to expire! The coverage is terrible! I did not have any coverage in my house and barely even a bar outside. I also had way too many dropped calls! I'd be talking away and finally realize that I've been talking to myself! It's rediculous! The only good thing is that you get more minutes than the other carriers, but worthless if you can't even get reception to use them.

So far, I have gotten good coverage in my area. There are places in the building were no one seems to get a signal, I couldn't get one on my old cell phone either. But with T-Mobile, no problem, even in the elevators I have a signal. I bought 3 Motorola Razrs family favs plan. I shopped around and found this plan to be the most cost effective. One of the phones went to my teenage daughter, so we got the unlimited text. I love the new cell phone, the plan is great & LetsTalk.com has some of the best deals!

I have had pre-pay phone lines for two years. I did not like the pressure that I was giving on the stores of phone compannys. I hear LetsTalk.com on Howard Stern100, SIRIUS sattlite radio. I decided to check the web-site out. And with no pressure I had All the time in the world to compare plans from carriers. And of cource I became a customer of T-Mobile. because I got more min. and the other thing that sold me was the Customer Service. I spoke to real people and understood what I need and was fixed right away.

I was initially apprehensive about T-mobile signals in my area. I checked on T-mobile website about signal strength still wasn't too much comfortable. So,I got my friends cell for couple of hours at my home and checked for signal strength. I had almost full signals throughout home. I was fully convinced and got Motorola PEBL with T-Mobile connection from LetsTalk site. I live in Jersey City Heights and facing no issues either with cell or plan.
I recommend to take new cell phone and plans from LetsTalk.com. It is hassle free!

T-mobile has by far the most minutes for your dollar and the coverage is awesome where I travel. I used the personal coverage check tool t-mobile provides to check both my work and home locations and the detailed information it provided was great. I have only had to call customer service one to straighten out a billing item and they took care of it quickly and on the first call - exceeded my expectations. I would highly recommend to anyone considering new wireless service or fro switching from your current carrier.

I have been a cell phone user since 2000. I originally signed up with Ariel. Ariel evolved into Voice stream and Voice stream evolved into T-Mobile. During that time, I have never had a problem with the service or the phone. I have traveled all across the country including multiple cities in Florida, Arizona, and California. In addition, I have been to Albuquerque, Cleveland, Richmond, Vegas, and DC. In all those places, I have never had any trouble with phone coverage. During my time with my service provider, I have only had one phone brand, Nokia. In fact, it was the phone more than the service that was important to me when I first signed up for service. Both Sprint and Ariel had the Nokia phone I wanted, so all I had to do was decide between those two. Since then, I have upgraded a couple of times and remained with Nokia. I hear other people talk about their phone and service and the problems that they have. I believe that it is because of the phone. They seem to have trouble with signal strength and even phone durability. Usually, they have a flip phone. I have never had a flip phone, so I have been insulated from those types of problems. Since Nokia now makes several flip phones, I am considering upgrading to one of theirs. We'll see how well their flip phone does compared to others.

I have been so pleased with both the phone (Nokia 6610) and the T-Mobile plan that I've had for the last 2 years! I've used the phone extensively throughout California and visiting New York. The phone is lightweight, the keys are big enough to where you're not punching up 3 numbers when you mean to only hit 1 key. The sound has been great--but I admit, I've not downloaded alot of special rings, etc. Overall, I am very pleased with the experience.

I am leaving out of my T-Mobile contract when it expires in December. I am counting the days, so to where I have already signed a new contract with Cingular and didn't opt to keep my number the same. The customer service is not very good, whereas the customer service at Cingular is better by far. The phones are better at Cingular. Cingular even has rollover minutes. The reception is terrible with T-Mobile. Cingular has basically the same technology and has far superior call quality.
I called T-Mobile's customer service about the reception quality and they just lie to you, saying that I am in a dead zone. How come it is when I use other cell phone providers (Cingular, Verizon) I can use my phone, but I can't use my phone with T-Mobile? I opt to get 150 less minutes with Cingular to get better service and better quality.

I've had T-Mobile for about 9 months now and my contract just got terminated. Yesterday, I got a letter in the mail stating that my account was going to be canceled due to the fact that I roamed too much. I pay for roaming, it's part of my contract with T-Mobile. The whole letter was a joke. It was so ironic, I could not believe it. It basically stated that in order to provide me with the utmost superior service, they would simply just write me off. I've never missed a payment and have always been satisfied with them, but I was sorely disappointed when I called customer service to give them a piece of my mind. The lady barely helped me out and couldn't interpret the letter clearly to me. I pointed out the irony of the letter and persistently told her I was not going to pay so they needn't bother waste their time sending me the next bill. She tried to tell me I could continue using my phone with a new carrier, but seriously, what's the point? If I'm forced to go into a new carrier, might as well get new phones. After talking with customer service and realizing she didn't really care about my problem, I just told her flat out to cancel my contract because I was fed up with her unwillingness to help me out. She shortly said goodbye and hung up before I did. Now I have two useless phones and have to hassle myself with a new carrier.

I have been a T-Mobile subscriber since 2000. I've got a family faves plan with 1800 minutes. There are 4 phones on the account. We do a lot of travel throughout the US and Europe and have been very happy with T-Mobile. There is no way I would change carriers. Never have a problem getting a signal. When I've called customer service they have been great. I make a point of recommending T-Mobile to anyone who asks me.

I have had T-Mobile for 4 years now. The only time I have had a problem with service is in my hometown, which is in the country. Verizon doesn't even work there and AT&T doesn't work well. I get coverage everywhere else. Their plans are far better than the others out there because you get a lot more for less. I have unlimited text, calling, and blackberry internet for only $90. Every time I call customer service, they have been very helpful and knowledgeable. I have never had a problem with my internet being slow either. I love T-Mobile and wouldn't think about switching.

I am reading so many bad reviews on T-Mobile and it's so untrue. I have been with them since 2006 and everywhere I go I get service. Sometimes when I am downstairs it goes down like 2 bars, but I've always had service. I once went down to Ohio in the middle of nowhere and I was the only one in my church group with service. People asked to use my phone. From what I read, people are bashing on the phone quality. The only negative about T-mobile is their prices for phones.

I have been with T-Mobile for about five years now and I detest their upgrade policy for existing customers. I mean, why, at the end of my two-year contract, can't I get a new plan with free phones. I understand the marketing strategy of wanting to attract new customers, but look at the logic; for being loyal, paying my bills, and respecting the terms they gave me, I get slammed with high phone prices.

I've been on T-Mobile for 5 years now. It's had it's ups & downs. I tend to have coverage everywhere in the US that I go, but the quality isn't so great. I often have dropped calls, fuzzy noises, and cut-outs. The website is horrible. It's not user-friendly & it is difficult to find the information you seek. Customer service on the phone is not the worst, but not particularly helpful. Customer service in the store is pretty horrible. They don't really care if you change to other carriers.

I don't know why there are so many negative people here. T-Mobile is awesome. I have never had a dropped call and I usually get pretty good service, but not around my house because there are a lot of trees. The only thing I can suggest for people who have bad service is to buy a better phone

I have been with T-Mobile for about 4 years now and I am thinking about canceling my contract with them because their service and cell phones are so bad. Every single cell phone I got through them I had to return for a new model because it broke. With one brand I went through three cell phones before I finally got one to work. Dropped calls are everywhere including in an open grassy area and in areas I had service two days earlier. I went in with a cell phone issue and the customer service representative told me to come back in two days if the problem persisted.

Every month my T-Mobile plan seems to get more and more expensive even though I never change it. Every time I call, they give me the same excuse, taxes and surcharges. I have never switched my plan and I never go over my minutes, but somehow my bill goes from originally 59 dollars to 185 dollars. I cannot stand T-Mobile.

I chose T-Mobile because they didn't participate in the NSA wiretapping scandal. I bought my cell phone at the end of May in a local T-Mobile store. I chose a two-year plan based on the fact that two sales people and the signage in the store said the phone would be free after they gave me a $30 mail in rebate. I mailed in the rebate form and was happy. I even recommended them to other people. Of course, after my 30 day period had expired, T-Mobile sends me back a letter saying I didn't qualify for the rebate. Apparently, they decided by choosing the cheaper, it would disqualify me.

T-Mobile is the best service provider out there. They are wonderful in every aspect. Coverage is incredible, phone's are solid, and their customer service is amazing. I have never dealt with any kind of signal issue at all. I always have at least 3 bars, which is plenty of signal strength. I honestly don't think I have ever had a dropped call. Their cell phones are very reliable. New phones always come with a 12 month warranty, but get insurance because it pretty much covers everything the warranty doesn't. As always, the biggest thing is customer service. T-mobile seems like they really strive for this. Every single time I have called in, they treat me with such respect and there is always just a good warm feeling whenever I call. Their representatives are also very knowledgeable.

T-Mobile plans might be cheaper, but they are not worth it. If you don't have the coverage in your area, what's the point? I can't even use my phone inside buildings. I work at the hospital and go to school and I can't get a decent signal. I remember when I was at a conference and I tried to make a call, I had no bars. A few feet from me there was a couple of people talking on their phone while I had no bars at all. I asked those couple of people which service they had because my contract was up. One said Verizon and the other said AT&T.

I have had the worst experience with t-mobile. I have been a victim since November 07'. I hate t-mobile. My reception on my phone is okay but overall they are by far the worst cellphone company. I changed my plan from 300 myfaves to 600 myfaves and I dropped my data (internet) because it was no longer needed on my phone. So I changed it and added unlimited text messages. Okay, my minutes started over march 8, 2008 okay everything with my phone was fine until yesterday. I lost my contacts, my saved text, my saved emails, and my pocket-purchased ringtones they were all gone!!! So I call the customer service and I get the worst service nobody gave me resolution, nobody made me happy it made me wanna cancel my contract. They all were telling me I have to wait until April until I can receive all my data back into my phone but mind you I have to pay for it up front. Why pay for something you can use right away??? So I look at my bill this morning and they charged me anyway. I hate t-mobile with a passion!!!!

I purchased a "T-Mobile To Go" (prepaid) phone to take on our trip to Costa Rica. I was assured by the salesperson that as long as I purchased one of the quad-band GSM phones, I would have service in Costa Rica. When I activated it a couple of days before my trip, however, I found out that the prepaid phones will only work in the U.S. T-Mobile had no solution for me. I was told that even if I were to sign up for one of the monthly plans, they could not activate the international roaming feature for 90 days!

I have been a very loyal T mobile customer for three years! Not only have I been denied free upgrades of my phone, I recently detected that t mobile minutes on my account were in excess of what I actually use even after rounding off the seconds. I timed my calls down to the last second and even after rounding off, the t mobile charges were higher. I spent a good one hour ( precisely noted by my cell phone and stop watch) with t mobile support. After being shunted and put on hold from customer care , technical experts, I was transferred to someone who could assist me in formally lodging my complaint! NEWFLASH, they don't think they are second grade dropouts, they think the customer is a fool. So this very rude and incompetent guy told me that my cell phone minutes were higher than my actual usage because.... The recipient of my call would have hung up several seconds/minutes after me and so the call keeps running. I actually have a way to cross check this because: 1) I heard the click at the other end before I hung up 2) I called a phone card company that records and charges me per second. If a call is still on, they will charge me. Their record shows that the call was disconnected from both ends. What person will wait on the phone for half a minute or more when a call is disconnected? Anyhow the world wide, telephone calls are disconnected the minute the person calling hangs up irrespective of what the recipient does. The customer care guy turned around and started saying that he never said this and that I am lying. To cut a long story short after being on hold for an hour, I just disconnected. Maybe he didn't, so he could keep my meter running. This is called cheating. I am most definitely not going to renew my contract with t mobile.

I have been a T mobile customer for about 10 years. My contract is up in Feb of 08 and I will not renew and never use this company again. My daughter who is on my contract recently moved to Haiku Hawaii, there is no cell service in this area. I called in December of 07 and asked to be released from her portion of the contract as she has no coverage and I was told the following. "I am the primary contract holder and I live here so I am stuck." "How foolish of my daughter to move." I realize I am the primary contract holder. I have never in 10 years asked for anything from T mobile. They are willing to loose a long term customer over 100.00 dollars, 50.00 dollars a month for 2 months. This is extremely shorted sighted as a company and I vote with my feet and my money.

T-Mobile has been terrific. I was a Verizon customer since they took over from Air touch. I was an air touch customer since they took over Cellular One. I was a Cellular One customer since 1988.My bill from Verizon averaged $500 a month since about 1992. Customer service treated me like I paid five bucks a month.Renascence an ice storm struck central Ohio a few years ago (maybe coincidence) I could not use my phone at home....dropped calls constantly, and the Motorola Q sucked with lock-ups and battery life.I paid the early term fee and bailed on Verizon.Best THING I EVER DID. I LOVE T-MOBILE. Since they now apparently operate off of Cingular (ATT) towers, I have GREAT coverage. To each their won, but I am a real T-Mobile fan now!

T-Mobile is terrible, they have the worst costumer services. If you have any billing problems be prepared to pay them. They are nice as long as you do not ask them to credit you for their mistakes. I have received 3 Dash phones from T-mobile....they gave me 2 defective phones and I finally got one that worked. I had a 340.44 dollar charge for a restocking fee that they will NOT take off my bill or allow me to make payment arrangements - they cut my service off before my bill was due and refused to turn the service on until I paid it in full. They have both defective phones (one was turned in late) due to my mistake of returning 1 of the phones past the 60 day period, I was told I would receive my defective phone back since it was past the policy. I called in about it and they said they threw my defective phone away which I still had to pay for....I'm sure they used my phone to build another phone. I paid it but I will cancel my contract as soon as possible because they made me feel like it was my fault for receiving defective phones. My only fault was returning the phone in late....this company will get over on you. I will be going to Verizon - I hear they are great!!!

I cant wait for my contract to be up. They are fine as long as you never have to call with a problem. I was lied to many times, treated rudely, talked over, down to, you name it, and I am talking about the supervisory staff. I also have never had someone call me back that was "unavailable". The worst customer service ever. No wonder they don't want you to have their corporate headquarters number. Not that they care either. The higher up the ladder the snottier they get. I am not interested in paying to be mistreated. Bad business t mobile.

The T-Mobile store could not find my expiration or minutes info. When I got on the web site a week later, it had expired a few days before. They would not help at all to get me reconnected with my 875 minutes. Almost $100 worth of minutes were taken from me. Don't expect any service from this greedy operation David

T-Mobile has good customer service but be careful if you decide to go on a cruise ship and use your cell phone. T-Mobile charges $4.99 for Roaming. They will not negotiate with the charges. Supposedly, I have 280 minutes worth of Roaming charges. The cost is $1,397.20. They will not negotiate with the billing amount. I have pleaded with customer service and the CEO of T-mobile. No one is willing to help me. I did ask if they had a international plan and they said "No".If anyone has any suggestions, please email me at nickybrownrn@hotmail.com

We were sold by what we thought was a t-mobile store at the mall, but turned out to be "authorized agent", a plan that added me to my daughters plan for about the same price. Turns out the agent lied and what we ended up with was a plan that cost twice as much. Several times we contacted t-mobile customer service, with a final suggestion to write a letter stating our problem. Needless to say, t-mobile won't help with the problem. T-mobile is history from all our phones very soon!

by Anita Poole -- August 3rd 2007 -- Lemon Grove, CA
T-mobile is overrated and is about to lose me as a customer after my 2-year contract is up, because I get dropped calls, roaming charges, calls are incoherent, and I keep getting overcharged, so t-mobile has been nothing of what I expected and I thought I was going to save money with them, since t-mobile always says "get more". So I am already thinking about switching to Verizon within the next year, because at least I know I'll get more reliability with Verizon like my friends and co-workers with Verizon always do, unlike t-mobile customers, including me. So anyone looking into switching to another wireless carrier, don't go with t-mobile, they are not what they are cracked up to be and are definitely going downhill.

Bought my Nokia 6086 and have had nothing but superior coverage anywhere I have went in Maine. Spend winters in Florida and several friends down there have it and swear by it. Haven't dealt with customer service yet but if they are as good as the guy at the t-mobile booth in the mall was who sold it to me with my plan, I'd say they rock all the way around. Let's be honest here people, there is no such thing as the perfect cell phone service. For that to be true, there would need to be a tower on every street all over the united states. Lots of people in Maine enjoy quality coverage from t-mobile. Being a former Cingular/at&t customer who claims to have "more bars more places" I can honestly tell you here in my area they do not. Who knows, maybe other places they really do. Wi fi is where technology is going and the nice things is when you're phone feeds off a wifi signal it doesn't deduct from your minutes. I sat in a cyber cafe today with all bars on my phone when I heard other people claiming they couldn't get one. They had non wifi phones, obviously. Called a friend and talked 20 minutes and it sounded like she was sitting right beside me (and it didn't take away any of my minutes) =)

I was a customer for a long time....as a matter of fact-since the first day t-mobile changed the name of their company from the ip voice stream....so, about 6 years. When I started using the PDA devices they have....that is when my experience went downhill!!!!!!!!!!! Some of the departments, such as technical support is great. Some of the employees in customer care are wonderful and very knowledgeable! Some know Nada!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The finance department employees are the rudest and most unknowledgeable employees I have come across. All of these departments are scattered throughout the united states and you never know when you are talking to a southerner or a mid-westerner or what....not that it matters. I guess my point is that there are way too many plan choices, way too many phones and way too many loop-holes and no roaming.....one thing that they claim to have!!!!!! (complete false advertising!!!!!!!) all these aspects confuse not only the consumer.....but...it seems the employees are just as confused!!!!!! They do not even know (some employees) their own terms and conditions!!!!!! That-my friends-is scary!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

T-mobile stinks. The only great thing about t-mobile is their prices and affordable deals, but coverage, reception, and call quality sucks. The phones echo, the calls drop, the calls are incoherent, etc., which were problems we never had with sprint or Verizon. In fact, my wife and I were so disgusted with t-mobile that we left them after 3 months and switched back to sprint, but now we're with Verizon and like them even better than sprint or t-mobile. So for anyone who is considering on switching to a new wireless carrier, don't go to t-mobile, go to Verizon, they're much better, even though Verizon is more expensive and the t in t-mobile should stand for "terrible".

Purchased a Samsung cell phone ($60 with prepaid plan) with 1000 prepaid minutes ($100) after reading good web reviews about the t-mobile prepaid plan. The gentleman at the t-Mobil store in the local mall checked my home address on his coverage map and said that coverage near my home would be very strong (highest category - 5 bars). When I brought the phone home, I couldn't get any coverage. But when I returned the phone to the store 3-days later, the store manager said he would only refund the $60 cost of the phone, but not the $100 I paid for the prepaid minutes (even though having prepaid minutes without a working phone is obviously useless). Called t-mobile customer service. The supervisor there politely said he understood my concern, but there was nothing to be done. Rather unhelpful. This was my first experience with t-mobile. They don't seem willing to address what I consider to be a very reasonable request (i.e., just return my money for a product I bought three days prior that doesn't work!)

I like the Samsung T-329 cellular telephone but T-Mobile's coverage is the worst I have ever had. I have to walk a block down the street just to get one bar and even the call is distorted and plagued by static. I don't understand it because even with full bars the phone still displays 'searching for service'.

The customer service at T-mobile is outstanding, I have never waited more than 2-3 minutes before speaking with a representative. Overall I have been happy with my 5 years with T-mobile. However, recently the reception and coverage seems to be deteriorating. I say this with not only my experience, but with those around me. My boss is constantly complianing about her coverage, saying t-mobile is Ghetto.rnIf they're not there yet, they are definately getting ghetto. T-mobile! Whats happening to your coverage? Probably the same thing that is happening to your customer base.

T-Mobile is an aweful service in the Tulsa, no, I mean the state of Oklahoma. You need to find a T-mobile cell tower and stand under it to make a decent call. I don't know how they stay in service.

I too could not wait until the contract was up. My phone was not working and dropping calls. Customer service told me to return the phone and get a new one that it would not cost anything unless it had been wet plus I had the option yto return it. I got the new phone it dropped calls and did not get coverage in many areas. They then charged me $100.00 to replace the phone. When I complained it was working just like the returned phone a CS person had me remove the back to check a small tag for color, when I told her it was white she indicated that a color change would indicate if the phone had been wet. I kept my phone in my purse and rarley use it outside of a car or building. I have not had cell coverage since Oct. of 2006 when the contract ended. I am currently looking at options but one I will not consider is T Mobile service is poor and they do not provide good customer satisfaction and apparently don't care if a customer leaves as it is only one person. However, since I have shared this many other people I know of at least 3 who did not choose T Mobile for service.

~April, 2007 Reception with T-Mobile pretty much sucks up here. Customer service is pretty good...you get through to them pretty fast. Prices are reasonable. If only they had better coverage!! I'd definitely recommend some other company, at least until they fix their reception areas. Been with them for one year and can't wait to swtich!

I've had T-mobile for 3 or 4 years now and have had no problems with them until now. I can't wait to get rid of them!!!!!! They shut off my service even after I worked out a payment plan with them. I made a payment in the amount that we agreed upon 2 days earlier then what we had agreed. Well they still expected me to make another payment 2 days later. So just because I made the payment 2 days early they shut my service off and I am upset.

I've had T-mobile for almost two years now- and I feel I can give a fairly accurate description of it- It's pretty good. Their customer service is wonderful- they're not only considerate (they've credited me back for something that was my fault- albeit accidental), they're helpful too. They'll review your minutes and suggest if you should keep or change your plan. If you go over/or under a lot, they'll recommend changing to something more appropriate. I've also been able to get my phones replaced when they were under warranty, at no cost to me. Downsides? Their coverage is great for major cities- at least for here in Texas. Traveling around not so great (at least that's my experience). The Quality's good, but not great. There's a weird echo sensation I seem to get every now and then. And I do get dropped calls- but, to be honest, it doesn't bother me much. A few weird things happen when you're placing a call and you get called- not sure if this is isolated to T-mobile.Basically- for me- I find it great as a starter phone, and perfect for students. You get more minutes for your price, good phones, great customer service for a low price. It's definitely worth trying at least once.

I have the prepay from T-Mobile, and so far I've had great coverage everywhere. I used to have Cingular and then Verizon, and I really wasn't too thrilled with either one. T-Mobile has the best deals for the money, and all the carriers seem to cover the same areas here in Philly, but T-Mobile's sound quality is better. I don't see why anyone would want to look at anyone else. Every carrier will have dropped calls and the occasional lapse in customer service; it happens. But trust me, T-Mobile is definitely the way to go!

Have had T-Mobile now for several years and had always been delighted with them until now. I wanted to upgrade my phones (I have two lines) for the first time in 3 or 4 years and the price showing first on the screen was not the price they were going to let me have the phones for. They said I didn't qualify for that price though from what I could see for the requirements, I exceeded them. Even when transferred to the cancellation department, they would not give me the price that I should have had. I am now looking at other cell phone carriers while waiting for T-Mobile to respond to my emailed complaint. Just can't understand how a business could let a customer of 5 or6 years walk away over such a dispute.

I bought two phones from T-Mobile I came home one cell phone was working the other didn't. I kept calling customer service they told me their going to fix the problems, and kept calling them ever four or five hours. They kept hanging up on me because they can't fix the problem, after that I took the phone back after three days, and I wanna cancel my service. They told me the one phone wasn't good they wanna replace it with a new phone, told them that the customer service didn't help me. For me its better to break the contract and close my account. That was it, after four months they send me a bill 450.00 US dollars. I told them why and they said my line was open and I was responsible to close it ( which I did) I said if you don't receive the payment in one month you suppose to close the line, not wait four months and charge me 450.00 USD ( ripoffs).

"Don't believe the good ratings that you read about t-mobile. They must have been written by a t-mobile representative. T-mobile's service is horrible. They will keep promising to fix any problems you might be having but will never actually fix them. I have kept my service because they have promised to fix the problems that I have been having. After almost a year of service, they have fixed nothing and threaten to charge me a $400.00 cancellation fee (for two phones per the family plan) if I should cancel service. I cannot make calls from my own home even though one of their towers is within 1.5 miles of my home. And I either have no reception at all or calls are constantly dropped if I use my phone anywhere else. I have traveled throughout the state of Florida and through Georgia, north Carolina and south Carolina and found their service to be no better in these states as well. Considering my plan will have cost me over $1,100.00 for one year of the poorest service that I have ever had, I can safely say that t-mobile is a rip-off. T-mobile should not be allowed to sell such poor service"totally agree with those statements!!!! T mobile is a nightmare and I already sign up with sprint, which I had 2 years ago and regret can celling to go with t mobile. They never admit is their network. I change my phones 3 times and they still blame the problems on the phones. Until one brave costumer service representative admitted to me it was their service. Can't get a signal in most places in central Florida and is only in the biggest cities like Tampa, Miami, Orlando, Tallahassee, Jacksonville and two or three other major cities that you can get a good signal. Disgusted and never again!

T-mobile's coverage/call quality are o.k. I do get dropped calls here and there, but not so often that it has been a problem. Their customer service is the worst I've ever experienced with any company. In my two years with T-mobile, I have spent way too much time on the phone disputing bills in which i've been overcharged (then promised to have it credited to me, and receiving the next bill in which i wasn't credited, then having to dispute the over charge again with several different people the following month). I can't wait for my contract to be up and be done with T-mobile.

I changed my plan in October and have had nothing but headaches since. My bill has been incorrect for 2 months. Each time I call and spend 30 minutes to 2 hours talking to customer service reps who make promises that are never honored. Now I am stuck with 4 phones, and a plan for 2 years. It would cost me $800.00 to close my service with them. They have no arbitration program to dispute charges or review the situation. I am sad to be a T-Mobile customer for the next two years.

I use to have Suncom. Loved it (although I may have been the only one). Cingular bought them out and had them for about 6 months. Hated Cingular. Terrible coverage and dropped calls constantly. Switched to T-Mobile. It is not Verizon but it is not far from it. It is a heck of a lot cheaper than Verizon. I have the 1,000 minute nationwide individual plan with the blackberry e-mail package. I cannot complain about T-Mobile's coverage or their customer service. The coverage could be better but it is adequate. I do travel quite a lot as I am in sales. T-Mobile is great in metro urban areas but struggles in rural areas.

I have had t-mobile for several years. I live in one part of the state on the weekends, holidays, etc. And work in another during the week. Although I travel to and from work twice, I have never had any problems with coverage in a few "dead zones", which aren't covered by anyone. My wife and I occasionally travel throughout the Midwest - Michigan, Indiana, Illinois, Iowa, Missouri, and Wisconsin and have had no problems with coverage except in those areas which are dead zones to everyone. In my opinion they have the best plans available for a wife variety of situations. As for customer service they have always been tops. I would also recommend finding a t-mobile corporate store and going there for purchase as well as for questions. Currently, I upgraded to a Nokia 6103 with which I am extremely satisfied. T-mobile has also made a lifetime customer out of me as well.

T-mobile coverage is awful in the Valrico area of Florida. When I called customer service, I was told they can guarantee coverage outside but not indoors, in buildings. When most time is spent indoors for most people. I pay $65 a month to get calls through my voice mails, and every time I call I get the run around. If I want to cancel, I pay an additional $200. It's ridiculous.

I have been a T-Mobile wireless customer for almost a year, and I would highly advise anyone interested in this service that the cost savings IS NOT worth the headaches. T-Mobile should receive the award for MOST dropped calls in the state of Virginia. I was drawn to the plan because of its low monthly rates for more minutes. As the months passed, I realize that you get exactly what you payed for. At first I thought, the service can't be this bad it must be my cell phone. The customer service is excellent but they have no control over how bad the network is. They replaced my cell phone at no additional charge but $10 for shipping. There has been no change.
Please be advised consumers!! If you are in the Northern or Central Virginia area this is not the plan for you. The service even drops along I-95, which is the major highway.

Been with T-mobile for a few years, here in the last 14 months their systems and customer care (mgrs) have went downhill on a speeding bullet! Dropped calls, No service in areas, and to make matters worse they have info every time you call C/C but yet they tell you they have no clue on what may be going on with the system or that the person you talked to never told you that / shouldn't have told you that. Just because your trying to sellout / get bought out doesn't mean you lower your service on your customers. May have to break and go somewhere that will take care of my family needs!

I was using a 600 min per month plan, got a new job and over ran my minutes to the tune of $424. My bad, I should have paid more attention. So, I pay the $424, go online as soon as I got the last bill and change my service plan. (Middle of Oct) Got my new bill today and it's $572. I call T-Mobile support and they explain that I'm out of luck because I clicked the o.k. button during my plan change online and it clearly stated that it would not take affect until Nov 1. However, had I called them direct to change the plan they would have back-dated my change and the new plan would have taken over right away. I explain that this is a major inconsistency and that no where on the web does it explain that you should call T-Mobile to change your plan during a billing cycle to get a back-dated plan change made. Yes, they agree, that does suck. Now pay the bill. So I tell them straight out. I am a dissatisfied customer and would like them to escalate the issue. I'm not looking to get money mailed back to me, just an adjustment, or credit towards next month, ANYTHING to show me they are willing to work with me to make things right. Yes, they agree, it sucks to be you. Now, pay the bill. I further explain that I can't see staying with a company that flat out refuses to work anything out. Oh, you want to cancel? O.k let us get you over to a person that can do that for you. In the mean time.... Pay the bill.

We had to close our account due to moving out of their area, we called them and cut our service and documented dates etc. Later we got a bill charging us for a month of service when we should have been cut off, cell phone was cut off in the time and we were still charged. We called dispute the issue and they refused to wave the extra charges. They told us they had a database where documentation is kept but somehow no one has access to it! "We have it but no one can look at it!" Crooks. Avoid them like the plague. PS: we will be disputing this should this come on our credit report.

Initially I had no problem with Tmobile. But since late September I have not had caller ID on my cell phone and every time I have called in they have patronized me into thinking they are working on the problem. Well I finally blasted them today and I told them they had no idea what they are doing. All I keep getting is the same tired answers. Everything is fine in our network...get this...they use Sprint for their caller ID transport. They have opened 2 tickets with Sprint(supposedly) but they have not heard back from them...it takes 72 hours. Today I told them I wanted this escalated every 24 hrs until it is fixed...I don't care if their CEO has to call Sprints' CEO but I want my caller id issue fixed.

Wow, so I couldn't be more frustrated by their lack of customer service. Buyer beware! My phone was stolen. So one customer service rep was fine--just professional, then another told me that she could deduct some of the charges because we were good customers, then when we called back to agree to re-new our contract (we were two days from ending our contract) the third person refused to help us out and wouldn't remove any of the charges made by the guy who stole it. She was cold and dismissive. She made no effort to rectify the mistake the other rep made by making the offer.

For the first year I had t-mobile I absolutely loved them. I had no problems with reception and the phone I had was great. Then in September of 2005 I bought a house about 3 blocks from where I previously lived. There is no reception (maybe one bar on occasion) in my own house. I am never able to take advantage of the free nights and weekends because when I am home, my phone is useless. I called t-mobile customer service to complain about not having reception and they assured me that they were getting ready to build a new tower that would improve my reception. I naively went ahead and renewed my contract, thinking I could actually believe what they tell me. Two months pass and I still had no reception! I called t-mobile and they then informed me that they had no plans (and never did!) to put in another tower. They actually had the audacity to tell me that if I walk to the fence in my backyard I may get an extra bar of reception! explained that another of their representatives blatantly lied to me and they didn't care. Since the 30 days was past on the return / cancellation policy I can pay the $400 to cancel the two lines of service. Went ahead for several more months and kept t-mobile, but I am so sick of them I am going to go ahead and cancel them (pay the unfair penalties) and move on to another carrier who actually cares about it's customers! I absolutely do not recommend t-mobile. Apparently they have employees there more than willing to lie in order to keep/acquire customers!

T-mobile's plans are affordable per min. Used. They have always made thing right. The only thing I am disappointed about is the coverage and call quality. Where I live I get fair to good quality, but when I drive around town I come up against mountians. Some places are poor to none in coverage. I also have trouble in wal-marts and where I work. I have to go outside to answer calls. Sometimes it is too cold or wet outside to answer my calls. I love my phone, customer service is great, plans are affordable, but t-moble needs more or updated towers.I have a hard time talking to my kids in ft. Lauderdale and miami florida. I've had T-mobile for about a year now and the service is always horrible. I probably have service about 25% of the time which is rediculous. The only reason I am staying in my plan is because there is a $200 cancelation fee. Do not get a T-mobile plan just because it is cheaper because it is not worth the hassle. I have had no service now for two days in a row and I am ready to throw my phone out the window because its amazing how bad the coverage is. Save yourself from T-mobile and get a plan with a company who actually offers service.

by Winston -- October 14th 2006 -- Plainsboro, NJ
I live in an apartment complex in Plainsboro, and T-Mobile's coverage was poor. On the coverage map at T-Mobile's web site, the coverage for my address was "fair," which was the second lowest rating. It turned out that "fair" meant that I usually had to go outside to get a signal.rnrnThe customer service representatives I talked to were nice, but unfortunately, they were probably powerless to fix the poor signal. One said that she would file a request for a tower, and another said that she was sorry about the poor signal. These representatives might have been saying what they were told to say, but the fact remained that the signal was poor.rnrnI talked with 2 T-Mobile people in person, at a mall and at a cell phone service store. They were nice, but blunt: if T-Mobile gets enough complaints, they'll put up another tower. One may have said that he was sorry about the signal quality. I would not recommend T-Mobile. If you live in a different part of Plainsboro, you might have a better experience with the signal. T-Mobile was my first cell phone plan. If you are considering T-Mobile or any other carrier, I advise you to do the following:. Check the coverage where you plan to use the phone most (possibly home), by going to the carrier's web site and entering your address or zip code.rnrn2. Ask relatives, coworkers, neighbors, or friends about what carriers they have and whether they are happy with them. Talk to someone who works at a cell phone store, preferrably one that sells more than one kind of carrier. I talked with one, which I mentioned above, and she told me about the experiences that customers had with various carriers. Ask about the trial period for the plan, which might be something like 30 days. If you don't like the plan, stop it. You might have to pay for the calls you made during the trial period.

I've had my phones for several months & unfortunately had to sign up with T-mobile for 2 years to get the Family plan. I have yet to have a decent phone conversation or the ability to use some of the phones features on a certain phone. Questions to customer service are always turned over to Technical support who come back with the same questions over & over again with no solutions. Supposedly our 3 phones are in a "good coverage" area & the 4th phone is out of state in a supposedly "good coverage area". They keep suggesting the SIM cards are defective but on all 4 phones....come on. Sorry that I ever left Sprint which I had great coverage with at home & also every where we traveled. I shouldn't have been such a cheapo choosing the lower priced plan. Hopefully, those 2 years with T-mobile will fly by so that if there is no improvement, I can switch companies.

I switched from Cingular to T-mobile due to lousy service on the former ATT network. The mistake I made was staying with GSM technology, which T-mobile also uses. Yes, TMobile it is better than the ATT network, but it still sucks. Lots of holes, phone rings once, or not a all, and then goes to voicemail. The best service I ever has was verizon, but they do charge more.rnrnWhich gets me to my complaint, T-Mobile got me to sign up offering me a discount. I never got the discount, but too late as my first bill came after the 20 day grace period. The could care less about you after you are on contract, listening but doing nothing. To make it worse, when I wanted to change my plan they insited on restrarting the contract. I have never had another cell company do this to me. When I purchased, they said I could switch betweem plans -- no problem. Leaving out the details until you are hooked into thier contract. Just say no to T-Mobile. 348 days until I switch to another provider...

Well I had a T-mobile prepaid phone before I got this contract one and The coverage was good as far as I'm concerned. I just received my motorola razr v3 in the mail yesterday and so far the service is pretty good. Sometimes I only have like 2 bars and sometimes I have 4 but regardless .I 've never had an issue with a phone call yet! Nor have I had any dropped calls..yet! I kind of regret reading these reviews before I got my phone because all it did was make me paranoid. Its not as bad as some people are making it seem, customer service has been good to me, not only when I bought the phone, but other issues I've called about. I purchased the phone offline with my moms credit card and they also set the account up in her name...I was imformed that whoever purchases the phone w/ their credit card is the account holder, and I got the issue fixed with no problem, customer service was VERY friendly and polite, I think it also has alot to do with how you approach people...u cant yell and scream and a rep because you're mad, its not their fault! I will keep you all updated on how it works out but so far its cool....

We have had a T-Mobile Family Service Plan for two years and it's coming up for renewal in a couple of months. We upgraded to it after my wife and I merged our individual plans we'd had for a couple of years prior to that. We also added our daughter to the Family plan. We did this at a standalone T-Mobile store. We had no problems at all doing this. The staff were knowledgeable, efficient and helpful. The activation of the new phone went without a hitch. All out phone are non-flip phones! I am giving the customer service a '5' based on this interaction alone - since I have had no other interaction with them all the time that we have had our plan!!!We have been pretty pleased with our service, esp. the free incoming calls from other T-Mobile customers and free, unlimited w/e minutes. While the coverage has not been perfect and there have been occasional dropped calls, I have traveled across state and had coverage, out of state and had good coverage. I have even used the phone internationally and had great quality. I don't think we will be changing carrier since none of the others is significantly better - just read the reviews. I don't think many of the gripes in the reviews are entirely T-Mobile's fault. They are industry-wide issues - too many phone doing everything else except send/receive and hold calls well. All this nonsense with music, video, games etc. on the phone is ridiculous! With the volume of all these signals traveling together, it's incredible that we have any service at all. The phone companies would have you believe that this can be done without interference and that the signals will somehow magically stay true. This is a pipe dream that they could help make come true if they got their fingers out and seriously undertook the task of providing clear, nationwide cellular calling. Nuf said.

I've recently decided to try T-Mobile..after being with the other carriers for a few years..I'm impressed with the coverage in my area. I've had no dropped calls at this moment and the plans that T-Mobile in my opinion are the best available. I got my phone and plan from LetsTalk . Its a great site. Second time I've used them.

While T-Mobile has outstanding customer service, I am constantly experiencing dropped calls. My connection gets cut off when I'm not even moving around. It goes from 3 bars to 0 in a second while I'm completely stationary. It's pretty frustrating.

I got 3,000 regional anytime minutes for $49.95 with T-Mobile. It is great for me since I do not travel very much and have few to call outside of the seven state area. I love this service plan. I have unlimited data and web and unlimited text and picture messages. It is an extremely rare instance when I get a dropped call. While it does not have the best coverage way out in the sticks, I reply on my OnStar phone in the car for such emergency calls.

The T-Mobile plan seems to be the best priced for a family plan. Reception is great in the city areas, but various parts of where I work it seems to drop off occasionally. I would have to say I like the plan.

Absolutely HORRIBLE coverage in the Phoenix area. It was very bad until mid 2005, then they did something and it was wonderful until FEB 2006. Since this time little if any coverage in the SE valley or Downtown Phoenix.
Customer service places the blame on the cell phone, although I have 3 cell phones, and don't think they are all bad. They all lost service starting in February 2006 as well. The customer service depart is rude and educated on T-Mobile service, or perhaps it is just corporate message cloning.

I live in Brooklyn and spend most weekends in Eastern Long Island. I got suckered into T-Mobile because they have the best rates, but I soon discovered that they have the WORST coverage. In many parts of Brooklyn I have NO service and in most of the Hamptons, the service is extremely poor or non-existent. I will definitely switch once my contract expires (unless they put up a lot more towers before April 2008)!

Compared to some of the other major cell phone networks, T-Mobile is alright with me. I really needed a cell phone for traveling from state to state. When everyone else, except Cricket, wanted a a deposit of $200 to $500 to receive service in addition to buying a new cell phone because of past credit issues, T-Mobile gave me a chance through LetsTalk.com. Not only did I not have to pay for new services I received an $80 credit.

Signed with T-mobile as they had 1 year contract. Right off the bat had trouble with poor reception, dropped calls, and no service in my house...my house is a suburb of Scranton......when I called T-mobile,they're answer was for me to use my landline when home......can you hear me now????
I stuck it out for a year, when my contract was up they offered to switch my cell phones, which they said were troublesome, with Motorolas...at no cost
being a trusting, loyal coal-cracker I took the bait. When I opened my bill I found they charged me over $100 to do this bait and switch...calling them only infuriated me more and I cancelled on the spot. I plan to make complaints with the BBB and the atty.general
stay away from these crooks.

T-mobile is stunningly awful. I am glad so many people are speaking their minds to help spread the word about the WORST customer service of all time!
I am currently in Iraq working for the government. I knew that I could call back to a Houston based number (via VOIP) free of oversea charges and would leave the cell phone with my fiance. Here is where I screwed up...
1.) I called and asked for a change in service, the provider asked me how much time I spent on the cell phone a week. I replied, "about 300 mins." So she set me up with a plan for 300 mins a MONTH after I specifically did the math for her and requested 300 x 4= 1200 min a month.
2.) After 1 month I was way over charged with a 300$ bill. I called and found out why.. when explaining my case repeatedly I was basically told that the charges were going to stick and that UNLESS I signed up for a new year and they would adjust the account. (In another words they would charge me 200$ from that point if I cancelled the service.)
3.) After agreeing and basically being EXTORTED I put the cell phone on military suspension for a year while I was here. I was told that if I went beyond a year it wouldn't be a problem and they would extend the suspension.
4.) After a year they billed me in which I called and informed them I was still overseas and needed more time. I was told no problem and the charges would be waived. Since then I have gotten a bill 3 times and 3 times I have had to call to get it dropped again. Once I went as far as to tell them to shut it off and I would just pay the KILL FEE. They changed their tune and waived again.
5.) FINALLY I got a notice AGAIN that if I didn't pay the same damn balance that had been waived time and time again that it was going to be turned over to collections. I called and asked for a manager (AGAIN). He was a complete jerk and just told me the same crap I had already heard about how the charges were valid and that his computer notes didn't show that I had called the last 2 times or whatever. NOT TRUE!! I had called them time and time again! Was waived TIME AND TIME again! I went as far as to tell him he wasn't listening to me (HE WASN'T!) He was pushy and wouldn't let me say a word. I had also found out that T-Mobile had completely turned the phone off (not military wise) and that may reflect on my credit. At that point I told him to forget it and transfer me to billing and I would just pay the stupid charge and be done with T-Mobile regardless off the 200$ charge fee.
I want to note that at all times I wasn't belligerent with any of the reps and tried to keep my cool. It wasn't until the final straw with the last SO CALLED MANAGER that I let my anger show. I think at this point I am going to do a CAFE PRESS shirt with the tag, "FRIENDS DON'T LET FRIENDS SIGN UP WITH T-MOBILE".. Hopefully save a few poor folks from ever having to deal with the providers from HELL!

T-Mobile is terrible with customer service. I can't get them to honor their agreement to give me a cell phone rebate. The local store has no authority, and they just shine me on. I have been a customer of T-Mobile since they emerged in the Atlanta area. I used to live in Gwenette Co, the coverage was good, and I used my cell phone for all long distance calls. Now I live in Cobb, and the coverage is terrible. I have to stand out in the driveway to get any signal. When I have been in Minnesota and NYC, the coverage is poor. I have called customer service almost monthly for two years now and been waiting for improvement which has not happened. The phone rep told me that my neighborhood coverage is good, that I probably need to upgrade my phone. She even gave me detailed info how to connect to a Cingular tower to get better coverage. That did not work, so I went to a local T-Mobile store, and the wonderful clerk there showed me on a monitor that my neighborhood gets poor coverage and then told me a new and improved phone would not fix the poor reception. I appreciated her honesty! She also explained that T-Mobile blocks my phone from connecting to a Cingular tower near my home -- they don't want to make that available. So guess what? I am switching this week to either Verizon or Cingular. I hesitate to change to Cingular because I have long distance relatives who say the billing is always wrong, charged extra minutes. I would only use Cingular because of the free mobile-to-mobile minutes.

Intermittent reception has been a problem for me. I have had my number changed in order to find a tower that will provide adequate signal strength, especially when I am at home. In fact, at times I must sit on my porch to call, which of course if good if the weather permits.
The coverage; mid-range to poor.
Call quality: overall good, if I can receive a signal.
Customer service; good, however, standard of service varies, dependent on who takes your call. In my last contract with t-mobile, they were very insistent that I continue my "relationship" with them once my contract expires, however there offers were always less attractive than programs for new customers. What kind of relations hip is that?
Cost benefit; when a product performs less than it should, then you have to remember, "you get what you pay for."

I moved to Philadelphia after a year abroad and I knew very little about the city. What I did know was that I would need a cellphone, because I would be traveling alot around the Philly area and New Jersey, New York, and Delaware. Well I was convinced that Verizon would be the best, till I did some research and I found that T-mobile offered the best plan for my needs and my Families needs. I find coverage in New York City and Philadelphia excellent. I have never gotten dropped except during long drives from NYC to Philly. This always happens around central Jersey. I have family in the area and when I visit them in Monroe, NJ I get 0ne or two bars maybe. But, I get great call quality even with one bar. Excellent service!!! LetsTalk.com rocks for making my research easy and allowing me to order a phone with the Philly area code without making a trip to Philadelphia.

All I have to say is that T-mobile customer is the BEST. Every time I talk to them they solve my questions in a friendly manner. Their follow their slogan so good "Get More." Its good to know they always give more minutes and inexpensive internet than the rest. Plus I am able to call Mexico for $0.05 with the $5 plan. And since I am afraid to commitments, I am very relaxed that T-mobile makes one year contract agreements.

I must say I'm very disappointed with T-mobile. The reception is just abysmally bad. Anywhere I go, there's a good probability I won't catch any T-mobile reception. The sad part is that my friends using other services (like Verizon, Cingular etc) get good reception in these very same places. I've written to T-mobile - each time they send me a response saying the problem will be fixed in the next 6 months - I've had T-mobile for 15 months and their reception hasn't gotten any better.
Another problem I ran into with T-mobile is that they couldn't enable International roaming on my cell phone. I have a family plan, and each time I'd call and they'd tell me that International roaming is enabled. My wife went to Europe and she got no reception - my phone had the appropriate GSM frequencies and would work with other local siimcards, but not with T-mobile.

The service in Cheyenne for T-Mobile, or anywhere in Wyoming for that matter, wasn't nearly as clear as my friends who use Verizon Wireless. I lost countless numbers of calls even when I had full reception. The only thing I liked about T-Mobile was the fact that they offered a $20 a month plan. However, they have since stopped offering it. I'll be taking my business elsewhere when my contract is up.

T-Mobile has almost cost me my job. Twice in the past two months, I get voice mails three days after they're left. This keeps happening on the T-Mobile plan. Unfortunately, it seems to always be my employer calling on an important issue before the weekend and I get the voice mail Sunday evening. There are also several areas in Albuquerque that I can't get a signal at all. It useless.

T-mobile, as mentioned by the other reviewers on this site, offer you the most minutes for your buck, and they are frequently offering promotional plans that are even more attractive. I have been with T-Mobile for one year, and I though that I would lost the promotional plan (1000 anytime minutes, unlimited N&W for $39.99/month!!!) that I originally signed up for because my contract was about to expire....wrong! I get to keep it! In my opinion, T-mobile's strong point is their awesome customer service. I was with AT&T/Cingular before switching to T-mobile and I always felt like a number, and I felt lost when trying to have even the simplest of questions answered. T-mobile's customer service shines....for example, I recently extended my contract for 2 more years, and I am upgrading to the Samsung T509. The customer service rep who I was speaking with sold the phone to me for $32, even though the normal upgrade price on the phone is $50. Also, I wrote an email to T-mobile with a question. The response time was abnormal (3 days, with the rep reasoning a high amount of traffic backing up CS). Because I am deemed by T-mobile as a "loyal customer," the rep gave me 200 more anytime minutes (for FREE!) that I can use over the next 3 month period. All in all, T-mobile is amazing; before I joined, I was against the idea of having a cell phone (and cingular was definately adding to my opposition), but now I could praise T-mobile all day long. T-mobile is as loyal to it's customers as they are to it.

This was my first cell phone plan and I have to say I made a great choice in going with T-Mobile. They give a very straight forward and quality plan at a great value while Verizon is too expensive, Cingular and Alltel don't receive service everywhere, and Sprint's plans are just goofy. The only place I have not been able to get service is in the basement of Turlington Hall at the University of Florida. I chose the free Siemens phone when I bought my plan. Calls are crystal clear and after 1 year of service I have had ZERO dropped calls. Customer service has been amazing. I expected poor or mediocre customer service from a cell phone company, but T-Mobile has really surprised me. I have called in several times and have never gotten the run around or an attitude from anyone. Last week I called in to extend my contract and had no cross selling and no pushes to spend more money on plans, phones, or options that I didn't ask for. While T-Mobile definitely has the best cost benefit, I couldn't give them a 5 because I still consider all cell phone plans vastly overpriced.
T-Mobile has really delivered.

I just switched to T Mobile about a week ago and so far so good.
T- Mobile gives you more for your monthly payment, just like they advertise, which is why I switched from the "Can You Hear Me Now?" carrier. The coverage that I get in northern Delaware and the Philadelphia suburbs is similar to that of my previous carrier, so no complaints there. Call quality is good: so far, not a single dropped call. I can not comment on Customer Service, because I have not had reason to use it yet, but having ranked high with JD Power sold me on that point as well. If I have any complaints later down the road, I will post another review, but so far I'm very happy and would recommend this carrier.

I was assured that it was ready to use, but no. IN addition, when I contacted T-mobile when I was in Europe, they were unable to help me. I am really happy with the phone service provided in the USA but as for their support, ability to cope with the fact that there ARE other countries in the world....

I don't like shopping and always changing phones, plans, etc. I like to buy quality and stay with a thing. Keeps life simple. I had T-Mobile plans in the southwest. The coverage was o.k., so was clarity. Then life got complicated and I had to switch my plans repeatedly for more minutes. Got to have a lot of interaction with cust. Service. And this is, far and away, their best thing. They have the best cust. Service I had experienced with any account not just cell phones. So now where I live there are more drop out zones than I am used to and I have started to shop for another service. But I don't want to lose this customer service. I am gonna stay with T mobile and maybe upgrade my phone for call quality. Excellent customer service. That makes me very very happy.

I have been with t-mobile for 4 years and have outstanding service. I was off a contract for three of them years and not one time did they pressure me to pay more cause I was off a contract. Not once during that three years did I change servers even though Verizon, Cingular, and others try to get me to change. It was just that the service was so good I never changed. I did recently sign another two year contract because of a family plan was in need plus a dynamite kid connect program they have. Also after Reading a few of the reviews I saw a few low ratings because of dead spots that the people ran into. I to have ran into dead spots in certain states in different areas, but alllll the carriers have that problem, believe me, its just a fact of life that there are some dead spots with everyone, but after traveling from coast to coast the dead spots were few and guess what??? I never had any roaming charges ever! I would recommend t-mobile to everyone.

All aspects of T-Mobile service are excellent from my viewpoint. However, be aware that some kiosks in shopping malls which appear to be T-Mobile outlets are actually third party sales agents and may not adhere to any code of ethics. I stopped at such a kiosk, was sold on a Siemens phone for a T-Mobile prepaid plan, then they could not activate it and somewhat reluctantly referred me to a T-Mobile company-run kiosk. There, the T-Mobile folks told me that particular Siemens model had been withdrawn two years ago due to persistent problems with it and that's why it couldn't be activated.
My dealings with T-Mobile personnel have been excellent, the service is great and their pre-paid plan is straight-forward without any gotchas. I carry a cell just of occasional and emergency use so do not need a full-blown plan. I am well pleased.
